Isis is the Goddess of the ancient Egyptians and is a symbol of the wisdom nature or the creative principle of the universe. She is the Divine Mother or bringer-forth of the perfect indwelling self within us.

"I am She who is the Goddess of women. I have instructed mankind in the mysteries. I, Isis, am all that has been, that is or shall be; no mortal man hath ever Me unveiled."
